Bible review games for youth

For characters or actions that occur more than once, it can be a rule that it must be the first book in which the character or action appears often characters are referenced in both the New Testament and Old Testament. This game can also be played using whole verses.
In the Bible Bee game, each contestant has to quote a verse until players reach a point when someone can't recite the quote. If a person cannot quote a verse, he or she is out. The game continues until one person is left standing. Actively scan device characteristics for identification. Use precise geolocation data.

To make the game into a Bible review game, you need to come up with four categories to put in the four corners. This can go along with whatever you are learning about in class— it could be four people, four books of the Bible, four stories, etc.
The other thing that you need is a list of trivia questions that goes along with the story. The answers to these questions should be the labels of the four corners. This shows which students understand the content, and definitely helps them to get the wiggles out. The downside to this way of playing is that it is easy to follow the crowd to the hopefully!
In this option, a student counts to ten, everyone goes to a corner. Then you read the question out loud, and whoever happens to be in the corner that is the right answer sits down. No matter which option you choose, this game is super fun and super versatile. It is so much fun— your kids will ask for it over and over again. Have fun!

Kathy, Thank you so much for the learn the books of the bible game! I also have a group of kids ranging from 6- 15 years of age and often have to figure out how I can take lessons and apply them to all ages.
Thanks for sharing. Thanks for the work you do to help teachers with this great ideas. Thanks Lord for the work you do to the kids Ginny Murrels. It is not easy to work with kids when parents do not function well but I am sure God will help you to do your best and you will be a very positive influence in the lives of those kids. God bless you. If the cards do not match then they turn them back over.
The next child then takes a turn turning over two cards. If any child turns over two cards that match then they take that pair of cards off the board and get to have another turn.
The player who has gathered the most pairs of cards by the end of the game wins. Variation: Write a question on one card and the answer on another. This becomes a pair and children have to turn over matching pairs of questions and answers. Memory Roll: Before class think of actions or activities that go along with whatever you are reviewing. Assign a number to each activity. Children can take turns rolling dice to see which activity to perform.
Here is an example of activities for reviewing the parable of the lost sheep: -Roll a 1-Recite one of the memory verses. Another way to do this is to let the children think of the six activities before you start. Puppet Review: Use a hand puppet to tell or review the story from a different point of view. Try telling it from the point of view of Daniel, Belshazzar or even — with great imagination — one of the cups. The rest of the students can be reporters asking them questions you have prepared.
For fun provide impromptu microphones or costumes. Puzzle Hunt: Before class colour a picture depicting the story and cut it into jigsaw puzzle type pieces. Hide the pieces around the room. At a suitable time during class have the children hunt for the picture and put the puzzle together. You could do the same thing by writing letters of a word or parts of a phrase and hiding them. Children find them and then put them together.
Spinner Game: Create your own game by drawing a circle on a paper and drawing lines to divide it into wedges like a pizza.
